30 DAY RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

  We are a small, local and an independent outdoor gear store (a dying breed).  We hold a tight inventory so we do need items returned pretty quick if you decide they will not work for you – shouldn’t take too long as you “just know” if it was meant to be.  If you aren’t jumping for joy or even just a bit more than docile with your purchase, you can return most items for an exchange or refund within 30 days from the time of purchase as long as it’s still in “sellable condition.” This means, the item should be unworn or unused (aside from trying it on or trying it out in your living room), unwashed, devoid of any stains, scuffs, tears, mysterious or not-so-mysterious smells, include all parts and needs to be in its original packaging with the manufacturer tags.  If you’re returning a pair of shoes or boots, we need the shoe box back (in tact – void of any strange holes cut in the side, too. Please DO NOT treat the shoe box as the shipping box. The box we shipped with will be perfect because we like to reuse and recycle. If you use the shoe box as the shipping box, we will not be able to accept the return and won’t be able to issue a refund- i.e. “sellable condition”.

 All returned items will be thoroughly inspected for any sign of usage. Items that are not in sellable condition because they have been worn, used and/or damaged due to improper use will not be accepted for return. Lightly used is still considered used and not eligible for a refund.  Items returned and deemed not eligible for refund will be shipped back to the purchaser at their expense. Gift Cards, fuel, food items, items you put your mouth or are labeled as final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

Electronics, books, knives and multi-tools must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

Returns are credited to the original payment method. The refund process (including inspection) may take 10 or more business days.

If you’re unsure about clothing size or a gear feature, we’re available to answer all your questions and offer advice. We love to try out tents and test-drive sleeping bags for our customers.

Out of stock items – There are occasions that something you ordered online is out of stock.  It sucks and we are sorry but that person that came to the store may have bought the pair of pants you wanted and the online store did not update right away.  You can come to the store and fight over the pants- winner takes all, or we will contact you to see if there is a suitable replacement or just cancel your order.

HOW TO RETURN & EXCHANGE A PRODUCT(S)

You can either bring your product(s) and invoice to our Just Roughin’ It store in Scottsdale, AZ or you can mail the product(s) back to us. If you are choosing to return items to us via postage, you will need to obtain a return authorization from us. Email us at bunnilope@justroughinit.com with your order number, name, item you would like to return and the reason.  Proof of purchase is required for all returns or exchanges. A receipt, packing slip, or anything referencing your order number will work.

You are responsible for all shipping costs. Be sure you get tracking for your package. If it doesn’t make it to us, there is no refund or exchange.

Exchange

We highly recommend that instead of sending as item back for an exchange, you return it for a refund and just purchase what you want from the website.  This way you will get what you want versus waiting 5-7 days to see if the item is still available.  However, you’re welcome to send back the original product (in sellable condition) along with a request for a different product. Simply leave a note with all the necessary information (item name, color, and size) in the package so we can get you the correct item. We will process the exchange in 1-3 business days once we receive the original product and exchange request. If the item you are requesting as an exchange is no longer available, we will contact you immediately. Proof of purchase is required for all exchanges.

As a reminder, gift cards and food items, as well as anything germy are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. You will be responsible for shipping charges for the exchanged item(s).

Free Shipping

If you received free shipping with your purchase – that is awesome because you bought over $100 worth of stuff!  However, if your refund takes you below that $100 threshold, you may be charged the $9.99 for shipping. It sucks, but shipping ain’t cheap (unless you’re Amazon or Walmart).

To ensure that you get the new product faster and while it’s still in stock, call us at 480-857-2477 to place your exchange order, or simply create a new order at justroughinit.com. Then, send the original product(s) back to us for a refund. Keep in mind that you will be charged for both items until the original is returned to us in sellable condition.

Orders Containing a Free Gift

Anytime you return an order that comes with a free gift, you must also return the free gift, also called backsies. If we don’t receive it back, we will deduct the retail value of the gift from your refund.
