| Just a short note to say a huge thank you for organizing a brilliant trip in Havasupai. It had all the ingredients of a first class adventure; a great group, a knowledgeable guide and stunning scenery. From the first time I was in touch with your company you were a pleasure to deal with. - Brendan

| I loved just making the call to Just Roughin' It and having you all take care of everything. Sure made vacation planning easy in that we didn't have to do anything else except show up on time with a few pieces of clothes and cameras. Just Roughin It provided wonderful care as well as great service. - Candy and Dave

| The entire trip was everything I was hoping it would be – rewarding, fun, challenging and adventurous. I appreciate you taking the time with me on the phone by answering my questions, getting to know me, following up, etc. What great customer service! Our guide was phenomenal and he was a huge part in making our trip so successful. - Dawn

| I had a fabulous time on the trip and would recommend it to anyone. Aaron was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. I was also very surprised by how good the food was. I was expecting to eat canned beans or something the whole time.

| The food provided on the trip was fantastic! I really appreciated the huge effort that was made to accommodate for my crazy food allergies. Only once did I eat something different than the group and I certainly didn't miss out b/c my substitute dinner was great.
Also, I was leery of not using my own gear. Not every company provides the best of gear for these sorts of adventures, however, I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and comfort of the gear provided. I was impressed not only with the quality of the gear, but also how well it's cared for to ensure that each person who uses it gets an equally good experience with it. I'm going to have to get me one of those Big Agnus sleep mats!! - Erin

| You guys took great care of us, took us interesting and beautiful places, were great fun, good sports and fascinating conversationalists. You are the guys I would want in my covered wagon train on the Oregon Trail. - Fred

| You did a superb job of balancing being a tour guide, geologist, friend (complete with the friendly teasing), coach, health adviser, chef and drill sergeant all wrapped up in one! Every detail of our trip to the Grand Canyon was planned to perfection. - Geoff

| Charles was a terrific guide. He could answer any questions about the Canyon’s geology and did a splendid job getting meals together, not to mention tending to blisters and showing genuine concern for the safety and well being of the hikers. I’m already looking forward to
another visit to the Canyon. - Greg

| I wanted to experience the Grand Canyon, instead of being one of the gazillion tourists who peer down into the scarred surface of the earth and say "I saw the GC!" I can say I saw the Grand Canyon-truly, madly and deeply!!! - Janet
|
| We had a fabulous time! It was the most physically challenging, rewarding thing I have ever done.
The service that Just Roughin It offered was great. From the pick up at the Phoenix airport to the drop-off in Sedona and everything in between. It was fantastic to have all our camp reservations (Grand Canyon hotels included) made for us as I found that to be a tedious and frustrating process when I tried myself.

| We had a fabulous time on our trip! I cannot think of a single thing that I would have wanted done differently. Doug did a great job, he actually spoiled us. We were so relaxed having him as our guide. The food was great - I actually gained weight!! Didn't think I could do that hiking 22 miles in 3 days! The gear was perfect. And, of course, the canyon was magnificent beyond words!! Thank you all! - Julie

| We absolutely loved the trip. Shelly was fantastic - her expertise in the world of outdoors was great. We felt like we had a leader, but still felt that it was 'our' trip.
I thought the food was exceptional. We've been on one other three day camping trip and it didn't compare. The variety and the gourmet-ness for the outdoors was great.
Also, the quality and the cleanliness of the equipment was outstanding.

| You can't imagine my joy upon finding my Rim to Rim certificate of achievement among the bundle of mail waiting for me when I arrived home this week-end from my Grand Canyon trip!
I want to thank you and Ray and everyone else at Just Roughin' It for providing me with an unforgettable one-in-a lifetime adventure. Your meticulous and caring attention to all aspects of the hike from furnishing the very best equipment to your efforts in accommodating my special dietary needs enhanced my experience immeasurably and confirmed what I had sensed when I first contacted you: that Just Roughin' It is more than just a means for you to earn a living; it is a labor of love for you and Ray. But perhaps your greatest gift to me and to the rest of my hiking companions was choosing Shelly Eberly to serve as our hiking guide. Of course, Shelly's knowledge of the Canyon is thorough and deep, as would be expected of the best-in-class guide that she is. And she is also able to convey to others her love of and reverence for the canyon in a way that few others can. What most impresses me about Shelly, however, is that she exemplifies in her outlook on life and the way she conducts herself the wisdom and ideals one should take away from an encounter with the every special place that is the Grand Canyon.
Very truly yours,
Sam

| From the time our guide punctually and politely picked us up until he dropped us back at the motel, our experience was “mountain top” (despite being in the Canyon)! The equipment provided was top notch, the food was filling, tasty and abundant. - Scott

| Being a gregarious and personable guide, Don exceeded every one of our expectations. He used his vast knowledge of the Canyon in subtle ways to break up the rigor of the trek at the proper times by stopping us & lecturing on the geography, geology, flora & fauna. His timing in this regard was impeccable. He had a sixth sense of our abilities & limitations & knew exactly when to take a break, when to jump in the stream to cool off, when to eat, and when to lighten the load and take a side hike without our packs. Don's culinary skills were terrific as well. The menus that you provided were great. - Shelly
