Arizona Adventure Backpacking Trips
"I got my gear in my pack, I got my pack on my back, today's the day I'm going camping." - John Denver
There's car camping, and then there's camping Just Roughin' It style. Take one of our backpacking tours and you'll rethink your definition of camping too. These adventures span multiple days throughout the wilderness of Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Arizona. Backpack through Central Arizona's Superstition Mountains or Yosemite's famous Half Dome, among other scenic tours. The southwest has endless options. You can pretty much pick your landscape, climate and view. Our day hike and multi-day hike trips also include roundtrip transportation from Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff and Williams. The journey there is definitely part of the adventure and Just Roughin' It experience.
Since we carry all our gear on our backs - we make our equipment as lightweight as possible. We provide you with top-of-the-line, lightweight backpacks that range from 20 to 30 pounds (9 to 14 kilograms), and we make sure no one carries more than 25% of his or her bodyweight. This includes the pack itself, tent, sleeping bag, mat, mess kit, eating supplies and your personal belongings.
You can also add a touch of class to most backpacking tours with add-ons like a hotel stay, private chef or even a private pilot. Take a look at our Custom Options.
