Havasu Falls - Grand Canyon Backpacking Tour

Havasu Falls is just one of several majestic waterfalls found on the Havasupai reservation that are anywhere from 75 to 200 feet high. While you will not see the amazing vistas Grand Canyon is known for, you will experience some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the United States.

This is the perfect hike for backpacking beginners, a family adventure trip, or a getaway with a group of friends. We set up a base camp at Havasu creek and spend our free days exploring the area and swimming by the waterfalls.

Our Havasu Falls tour will take you through the village of Supai, which inhabited by the Havasupai Indians, and then on to a campground where we spend a few nights under the stars next to the bustling Havasu Creek. All of our hiking tour options allow you plenty of time to explore Havasu Falls, Navajo Falls and the 198-foot Mooney Falls.

Our Havasupai trips are true backpacking tours. No pack horses, no base camp that is already set up, and no coolers coming down on horseback.*

Our backpacking trip packages can be easily customized, so if you are looking for more adventure and fewer people, we can spend a day hiking to the Colorado River, about 16 miles roundtrip. It's long, but you will see some of the most stunning parts of the Grand Canyon - and maybe even a family of bighorn sheep.

Our Havasu Falls backpacking tours can be combined with a hiking or backpacking tour of the Grand Canyon National Park for an adventure that encompasses the best of both destinations.

We are a leave-no-trace company; therefore, we pack in and pack out everything. Part of the experience is finding a great campsite and leaving it just as we found it. Our goal is to show our guests how to have less impact on the environment.

Just like many of our hiking tours, our Havasupai adventures can originate in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Williams or Peach Springs. We offer transportation service from Las Vegas for an additional charge.
