Arizona Backpacking Adventure Trips
Multiple days under the Arizona sun and stars. Our backpacking adventure trips cover the entire state from the Southern Arizona deserts through the north's White Mountains. You can also creep up higher on the Oh $@%&! scale for a canyoneering adventure where you may scale the walls a plateau or wade through rivers. Get ready to get dirty!
Grand Canyon
After one glimpse of Arizona's Grand Canyon landscape, you'll understand why the park earned the title as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Our backpacking trips throughout the inner canyon offer something for nearly everyone.
Paria Canyon
Paria Canyon is famous for colorful slot canyons that cross Northern Arizona and southern Utah. They are among the longest and deepest in the world. We take you trekking right through these narrow gorges and around rare rock formations found only in this region. We'll also pass through some slot canyons that are so narrow - you can touch both sides with your arms spread out.
Superstition Mountain Tours
Two of Arizona's landmark mountain ranges are a quick drive from the city. The Superstitions are known for legend, lore... and a lost gold mine! While the Mazatzals mark the transition from desert to forest... and has some old mining adventures of its own.
Southern Arizona has some of the state's most popular outdoor destinations. We can take you on a backpacking trip through any of the Tucson area's many mountain ranges, collectively called the Sky Islands. There is much diversity from Mount Lemmon overlooking Tucson at 9,000 feet (2,743 meters) above sea level, to Aravaipa Canyon, a diverse desert land that's has had little human touch.
Arizona Rim Country
Arizona is more than a desert. Imagine backpacking through the shade of ponderosa pines, or wading through crystal clear streams. You may even spot a herd of elk or deer along the trail. This is the side of Arizona you may not know - but should.
