Well that pretty much sums up our adventure tours. That's how you describe the infinite view from a mountain top. That's how you describe the trek from one side of a natural wonder to the other. And that's also how you describe our approach as a guide service.
Mission Statement: Our goal is to establish and sustain Just Roughin' It Adventure Company as the premier provider of adventure vacations in the Southwest. We aim to achieve this by providing tours and adventures that exceed our customer's expectations and create lifetime memories. Additionally we operate all aspects of the business in an environmentally conscious way so that future generations can enjoy nature's beauty in the same way we can today.Simply put, we're outdoors experts. We have the knowledge and experience to take you on an incredible adventure throughout the Southwest that will stay with you a lifetime. We are here to create a one-of-kind journey, so we go a step above and beyond other guide services. This is how we do it:
The Basics...- We provide roundtrip transportation from select cities around Arizona and in Las Vegas.
- We provide all the necessary top-quality gear you'll need including Osprey backpacks, Big Agnes Tent (double occupancy), Big Agnes sleeping bags and pads, headlamp, utensils, dishes, 2-liter and Camelbak H2O reservoir. Plus, the guide carries all group gear.
- We take care of all the permits, taxes and fees.
- The guide provides all restaurant-quality meals and snacks.
- You can transform your trip into a women's-only adventure.
- We have an adjunct professor of exercise science on staff with 10 years of training individuals for endurance sports.
- As a committed partner of Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, we leave as little environmental impact as possible. We only carry in what we can carry out.
- Our guides can take you to the little-known places you can't find in any guidebook.
- We keep our groups small - no more than five to seven people per guide (depending on location).
- All of our guides have at least 80 hours of Wilderness First Responder or equivalent.
